(VGSI PILE) On February 7, the Board of Directors of VGSI PILE (GS E&C) paid an official visit to leaders of the Vietnam Institute for Building Science and Technology – Ministry of Construction (IBST).

At the meeting, VGSI PILE General Director Mr. Park Hong expressed best wishes for the Vietnamese Traditional New Year and expressed thanks to the leaders and officers of IBST for their close cooperation with GVGSI PILE and GS E&C for over the past 15 years.

GS E&C, ranked among the top construction groups of the Republic of Korea, has contributed substantially to the infrastructure and superstructure of Vietnam through its major projects, such as Metro Line 1, the Nghi Son Refinery Plant, Ha Noi – Hai Phong Expressway, and Tan Son Nhat – Binh Loi.

Mr. Park Hong shared that, in 2019, GS E&C developed its factory for manufacturing piles in Vietnam with the goal of creating sustainability by applying innovative Korean construction techniques toward current solutions for foundations.

In return, Deputy Chairman of IBST Mr. Dinh Quoc Dan expressed that all technology initiatives and experience from developed countries like Korea would always be welcomed, especially for national-level works and projects.

Founded in 1963, IBST is a State–owned institution under the Vietnam Ministry of Construction. It is a leading research and consulting Institution, carrying out state management duties for the construction industry, particularly in the field of consultant architectural design, and verification.
